TENTH INTERSCHOOL PROGRAMME 2009 - Mussoorie
North India

The Foundation is organizing a week long programme to engage young school children to cultivate insights, respect for pluralism, sensitizing people to different faiths and generate a dialogue to create a greater understanding of the needs of individual/groups.

Programme Overview:
The programme will include lectures, discussions, debates, skit plays, workshops, meditation, visits to various religious centers, to observe and be a part of the community around, cultural programmes, film screenings and many more.

Schedule:
September 22nd to 28th 2009

Venue:
Tibetan Homes Foundation, Mussoorie, Uttaranchal State, India

Eligibility:
Schools only as group participation (for students above class VIII)

To Apply, please submit:

• A short essay (500-800 words) from each students of particular school explaining why you wish to participate at the workshop.

• Completed Application Form with contact details

Note: The Foundation will cover expenses for food and lodging for the duration of the workshop. Travel from venue to places of visit during the programme will be arranged and covered by the Foundation.  The Foundation WILL NOT cover travel expenses to and from Mussoorie for participants from outside Mussoorie.
